24 Hour Omelet

  • 6 slices crustless Texas toast, buttered in 9×13 buttered pan
  • 2 heaping c cheddar and Monterey jack cheese
  • 4 oz green chili chopped

Egg Mixture – Beat together: 

  • 2 c milk
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt & pepper to taste
  1. Cover bread with ½ cheese, then chilies, then top with cheese.  
  2. Pour Egg Mixture over the bread and cheese, add salt and pepper.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.  
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour & let stand 15 minutes before serving.
