24 Hour Omelet
- 6 slices crustless Texas toast, buttered in 9×13 buttered pan
- 2 heaping c cheddar and Monterey jack cheese
- 4 oz green chili chopped
Egg Mixture – Beat together:
- 2 c milk
- ½ tsp. oregano
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- salt & pepper to taste
- Cover bread with ½ cheese, then chilies, then top with cheese.
- Pour Egg Mixture over the bread and cheese, add salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour & let stand 15 minutes before serving.
