Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Scones
- 3 ½ c flour
- ¼ c sugar
- 3 T baking powder (Yes, Tablespoons)
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 ½ c Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
- 1 ¼ c milk
- ½ c butter
- Preheat oven to 375
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Cut in butter to form a coarse mixture.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Stir in 1 ¼ c milk and mix to moisten dry ingredients.
- Turn out onto a floured surface and knead ten times.
- Roll out to 1 inch thick and cut with a round cutter.
- Bake for 15 minutes on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Makes 30 small scones.
- Serve with butter, honey, jam and whipped cream.
