Chile Relleno

  • 1 c half and half
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c flour
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • ½ lb jack cheese, grated
  • ½ lb cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 (4oz) cans whole green chilies; split, rinse and drain
  1. Mix half and half, eggs and flour until smooth
  2. Layer in 2 qt dish; chili, cheese, sauce (save ½ c cheese for top)
  3. Pour tomato sauce over top sprinkle with remaining cheese
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
