- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 c brown sugar
- ¼ tsp. baking soda
- ½ c sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- Stir together egg, brown sugar and vanilla.
- Add sifted flour, salt, soda and walnuts. Mix well.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes in a well-greased 8 inch pan at 350 degrees.
- Will be soft when taken out.
- Cool; dust with powdered sugar.
- Cut into bars.
