- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
- ½ c walnuts, chopped
- 1/3 c butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 c sour cream
- 20 oz can apple pie filling
- 1 egg
- ½ c brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- In a large bowl combine cake mix, butter and egg at low speed until crumbly.
- Press into an ungreased 9×13 inch pan; spread with pie filling.
- Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Sprinkle over apples.
- In small bowl blend sour cream, egg and vanilla. Pour over the sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until the topping is golden.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
