• 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • ½ c walnuts, chopped
  • 1/3 c butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 20 oz can apple pie filling
  • 1 egg
  • ½ c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.  
  2. In a large bowl combine cake mix, butter and egg at low speed until crumbly.  
  3. Press into an ungreased 9×13 inch pan; spread with pie filling.  
  4. Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon in a separate bowl.  Sprinkle over apples.  
  5. In small bowl blend sour cream, egg and vanilla.  Pour over the sugar mixture.  
  6. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until the topping is golden.  
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
