Caramel Corn
- 1 c real butter
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- 2 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ½ c light Karo syrup
- 6 qt popped corn
- 1 tsp. salt
- Combine butter, brown sugar, and syrup; bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes, not stirring.
- Remove from heat; stir in soda, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour over popped corn; stir well.
- Place on 2 large cookies sheets; bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
