German Caraway Meatballs

  • 25 – 1 ½” meat balls (if frozen heat thru)
  • 1 (10 ½ oz) can beef broth
  • 1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms
  • ½ c chopped onion
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 T flour
  • ½ – 1 tsp. caraway seed
  1. In a large skillet combine the meat balls, beef broth, mushrooms and onion.  
  2. Simmer covered 30 minutes.  
  3. Blend sour cream, flour & caraway seed; stir into broth.  
  4. Cook & stir until mixture thickens.  
  5. Serve over spaetzle or cooked rice.
