Great Grandma’s Beef Stew

In frying pan brown ½ to 1 lb of meat cut into bite-size pieces

Cut to your liking and boil till done, not too soft…

2 potatoes

1 large onion

3 carrots

3 stalks of celery

Drain water off vegetables and save liquid.  

Add meat to vegetables.

Gravy:  Add 4 T flour to the frying pan with a fork and blend well, if more moisture is needed add a little more oil.  Add vegetable juice; blend with a fork, if not enough liquid, add water.  Put meat and vegetables back in the frying pan and simmer for ½ hour.
