Crust:

  • ½ c butter
  • 1 small pkg cream cheese
  • 1 c flour
  1. Mix with hands.  
  2. Make into small balls (3/4 – 1 inch in diameter) 
  3. Press into tiny muffin tins and use your thumb to shape into a small shell.  
  4. Makes 2 dozen.

Filling: 

  • 1 T melted butter
  • ½ c chopped pecans
  • ¾ c dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg beaten
  1. Combine all ingredients and fill unbaked shells 2/3 full.  
  2. Bake for 25 minutes at 350.  Let cool for 10 minutes. 
  3. Remove from the pan.
