Puff Pastry Wrapped Brie

  • 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry, thawed
  • 1 Brie cheese round (8oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small jar apricot preserves
  • ½ c walnuts

  1. Heat oven to 400.  
  2. Unfold pastry on floured surface. Place cheese in the center. Fold pastry over cheese to cover. Trim excess pastry and press to seal. Reserve scraps for decoration, if desired.
  3. Beat egg with 1 T water. Brush the seam of pastry with egg mixture.  Place seam side down onto baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.  
  4. Bake for 25 min. or until golden brown.  Top with apricot preserves and walnuts.  Let stand for 20 min.  Serves 6.
