Strata

  • 3 c cubed ham
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • ½ diced onion
  • 2 ½ c half & half
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 lb pork sausage, cooked & crumbled
  • 2 T chopped green pepper
  • ¾ loaf French bread crust off & cubed
  • Salt & pepper
  1. Sauté onion & green pepper in butter set aside.  
  2. Butter 9×13 pan; layer bread, ham, cheese, bacon, sausage in pan.
  3. Put veggies on top.  
  4. Mix eggs, half & half, mustard, salt & pepper blend.  Pour over the pan and let set-up for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.  
  5. Bake 350 1 hour until done, golden and puffed.
